Standing figure of Neith, striding with left leg forward. The goddess is wearing the red crown, the tip and the lituus are broken. The face is square in shape, the eyes are inlaid with a light gold-coloured metal, probably electrum. The goddess wears an ankle-length, tight-fitting dress. The shoulders are broad. The right arm rests along the body, the hand clenched in a fist has a hole for fitting a now-missing insignia. The left arm is bent forward, with the hand broken. The legs are muscular, the ankles thick. The feet rest on a rectangular hollow base, which is inscribed on all four sides. Inside the base there is some material, probably belonging to the casting mould. Two rectangular-section tenons project down from the base, in correspondence of the goddess’ feet. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
