Standing figure of an ibis, striding with left leg forward. The head is missing, with only the base of the neck preserved. The wings are tightly folded to the body. The legs are finely modelled, detailed with thin incisions indicating the skin pattern. The knees are indicated and the toes are detailed with talons, the right hind talon being missing. Cavities for inlay are present on the tail, where traces of a dark blue material, possibly lapis lazuli, are preserved. Two square-section tenons project down from the feet. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
