Figure of a squatting ibis. The head is small and rounded, with recessed eyes intended to hold inlays, now missing. The beak is long, thick and curved downward. The thick neck follows a sinuous 'S' shape. The body is teardrop-shaped. Details of the feathers are visible on the rear portion of the body. The legs are broken after the knee joints; a rectangular-sectioned tenon connects the two legs. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
