Pyramidion of the workman Khonsu son of the workman Sennedjem

The pyramidia often bore representations in relief, with a preference for solar motifs and texts. On the pyramidion of Khonsu, next to the two representations of the deceased with his wife and son, we find the image of the sun god Re-Horakhty as a falcon, and a depiction of a scarab, symbolising the solar cycle.
