In the upper register, Tjanuni and his wife Mutiry worship the king of the netherworld: “Giving praise to Osiris, kissing the ground for the lord of eternity…”. In the middle register the couple, seated on a dais, receive offerings from their son, the scribe Hatiay, in the role of a sem-priest clad in a panther skin. The lower register contains a long offering formula. On this stela, Tjanuni bears the title of “great confidant of the Lord of the Two Lands,” which bespeaks his intimate and direct relationship with the king.
