Offering tables like this one were used in divine and funerary cults. They were decorated with images of fruit, vegetables, bread loaves and flatbread. Special formulas were recited over them to multiply the food offering destined to feed the soul of the deceased or a deity. This table has a large, fairly unusual pentagonal base, decorated with scenes of offerings and purification. The dedicator is Aapahti, a worker from the village; a few members of his family are remembered alongside him.
