The god is wearing a headdress composed of a lotus blossom, surmounted by two tall plumes and flanked by two bronze elements, probably identifiable as menat counterpoises (a hathoric symbol of fertility). There is a suspension loop on the back, between the crown and the head. Nefertum has a tripartite wig, a false beard connected to the upper chest and the shendyt kilt. Nefertum has the arms at sides, the hands are clenched into fists, The feet rest on a thin rectangular base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
