Amulet depicting the god Nefertum

Standing figure of Nefertum, striding with left leg forward. The god is wearing a headdress composed of a lotus blossom surmounted by two tall plumes and flanked by two bronze elements, probably identifiable as menat-counterpoises (a hathoric symbol of fertility). There is a suspension loop on the back, between the crown and the head. The god has the arms at the sides. The feet rest on a tiny rectangular base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
