Standing figure of Nefertum, striding with left leg forward. The god is wearing a headdress composed of a lotus blossom surmounted by two tall plumes and flanked by two bronze elements, probably identifiable as menat-counterpoises (a hathoric symbol of fertility). There is a broken suspension loop composed of two bands on the back, between the crown and the head. Nefertum has a tripartite wig equipped with a small uraeus. The god has a false beard connected to the upper chest. Nefertum has the left arm at side, the hand is clenched into a fist, the right arm is bent on the chest and the hand is holding an object: although it has generally been described as a scimitar, or scimitar like object, it is a short fan made of a single, curved ostrich plume. Nefertum wears the shendyt kilt. The feet rest on a thin rectangular base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
