Standing figure of lion-headed Sekhmet, striding with left leg forward. The goddess was crowned with a large solar disc, which is missing. The goddess has a geometric mane and a tripartite wig worn rather far back and decorated with incised vertical streaks. The goddess is wearing an ankle-length, tight-fitting dress. She has two armlets, which are only visible from the back of the figure. Sekhmet’s right arm is along the body, the hand is blenched in a fist and has a blocked hole. The left arm is broken. The feet are missing. The statuette is mounted on a modern wooden stand. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
