Standing figure of lion-headed Sekhmet. The goddess is crowned with a solar disc equipped with a barely visible uraeus. The head is well-modelled despite the small size of the figure, the muzzle is protruding downwards, the eyes are separated by the nasal bridge, the whiskers and mouth are indicated as thin incised lines. The mane is visible on the front left part of the chest. The goddess has a tripartite wig, only visible on the back, and decorated with vertical streaks. There is a suspension loop between the back of the solar disc and the head. Sekhmet’s arms are along her body, with palms pressed onto the thighs. The legs are together. The feet rest on a trapezoidal base. The statuette is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
