Crocodile mummy

A crocodile mummy bundle that tapers at both ends. The body is bound using a variety of bandages of different qualities and colours, wrapped spirally around the animal and held in place by some resin.
The bandages at the tail extend beyond it and are folded over. The tail is wrapped in two spiral bandages. It was probably covered by a series of tightly and elegantly folded bandages that spiralled around it. In terms of conservation, the dorsal side appears cleaner.
The CT scans show that the package contains the body of a juvenile crocodile, probably a hatchling.
