Wooden obelisk figure on a low rectangular base, both are plastered and the obelisk’s pyramidion is gilded. Each part is carved from a single piece of wood.
The sides of the obelisk have a serekhs type pattern in white, green, white and red, which could also be likened to a false door. the base is painted in green. The obelisk was once fronted by an image, probably of Osiris, as the rectangular hole for the peg survives. The obelisk is sealed and contains a mummy bundle.
It is possible that the textile wraps a very small and incomplete animal, maybe a juvenile bird or mammal, but it is difficult to correctly identify it.
