Within the series of standing statues of Sekhmet, the degree of completion is particularly variable. This example was carefully polished and shows many engraved details: necklace, bracelets, wig hair, facial features, and rosettes on the breasts. Other statues of Sekhmet on display in this gallery, instead, are merely roughed out. None of the standing Sekhmets bears any inscription.
