Conical, fairly narrow jar made of Nile silt, with a slightly convex base. The fabric is a very coarse Nile C with inclusions of sand, limestone, and a high amount of straw temper. It is sealed with a lid akin to an upturned bowl, which is secured with gypsum or plaster. CT scans reveal that the vessel contains the remains of at least one bird, either an ibis or possibly a raptor. The few bone fragments in the vase make its identification impossible.
