Conical Nile silt jar with rounded lip and two raised lines immediately below. It tapers to a convex base. It is slightly brownish on one side, and reddish on the other, probably due to firing. CT scans show a probably complete, but fragmented, skeleton of an adult ibis positioned on its back with the head on the chest. The animal appears to be wrapped in many layers of textile bandages with padding, and some areas, particularly in the skull area, were covered with what might have been a type of oily-resinous material.
