Mut statuette

Standing figure of the goddess Mut, striding with left leg forward. The goddess has the double crown, the lituus is broken. The red crown is decorated with vertical streaks. The goddess is wearing a tripartite wig decorated with a vulture headdress and a uraeus. The bronze surface is covered by a thick corrosion layer on the back of the head and on the torso. The goddess has a collar consisting of three registers. The right arm is along the body, the palm pressed onto the thigh, while the left arm is broken. The goddess is wearing an ankle-length, tight-fitting dress. The feet rest on a rectangular base, from which a square tenon projects down. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
