Harpocrates statuette

Seated, naked figure of Harpocrates. The god is wearing the skullcap decorated with the uraeus, the side-lock of youth is missing and has been filed off, as the suspension loop at the back of the neck. Harpocrates has his arms at sides with hands open, the palms facing down. The legs are together up to the ankles, the leg muscles are slightly indicated. The feet rest on a thin trapezoidal base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
