Seated, naked figure of Harpocrates. He wears a nemes, decorated with a stylised uraeus. On the back of the nemes is a suspension loop composed of two bands. The nemes is surmounted by a hemhem-crown, comprising twisted ram’s horns, a triple rush crown surmounted by solar discs, flanked by two slender feathers and two uraei. On the right side of the head is the characteristic side-lock of youth, ending in a curl on the shoulder. The face is oval, with stylised features. The god brings the index finger of his right hand to his mouth, while the left arm hangs along the body with the hand open and the palm facing downward. The legs are joined, and the feet rest on a trapezoidal base. The remnant of a rectangular-section tenon projects down from the front of the base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
