Osiris statuette

Seated, mummiform figure of Osiris, wearing a tight-fitting dress which leaves the hands uncovered. He is wearing an atef-crown, equipped with two slots on each side, to insert the now missing feathers. Osiris has a false beard and a wesekh-collar. The arms are bent and the fists, resting side by side on the chest, hold the nekhekh and the heqa-sceptres. There is a square base under the feet. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
