Osiris statuette

Standing, mummiform figure of Osiris, wearing a tight-fitting dress which leaves the hands uncovered. He is wearing an atef-crown with ram horns and a false beard. The arms are bent and the fists, resting side by side on the chest, hold the nekhekh and heqa-sceptres. On the back of the statuette, there are two suspension loops, one behind the neck and one on the ankles, connected with a pillar in relief. The feet rest on a square base, equipped with a broken suspension loop on the right side. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
