Osiris statuette

Standing, mummiform figure of Osiris, wearing a tight-fitting dress which leaves the hands uncovered. He is wearing an atef-crown with the uraeus and ram horns. He has a false beard. The arms are bent and the fists, resting side by side on the chest, hold the nekhekh and heqa-sceptres, in inverted position. The feet rest on a hollow square base, from which a tenon projects down. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
