Bes statuette

Figure of Bes. The headdress is missing. On his face, the forehead is wide, the eyes are visible, he has a snub nose, the mouth is rendered as a straight incision, the tongue is protruding and barely visible. The leonine ears are pierced, probably for earrings. The god is depicted naked, in a squatting position with his arms arched, the hands on his legs. The god has bow legs, the tail is broken. The feet rest on a square base. The figure is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
