Decorative element in the form of a falcon head

Falcon head, probably a decorative element. The falcon has a tripartite wig, decorated with vertical streaks. The ear coverts are stylised as a rough lanceolate drop-shaped motif with a downward pointing tip. The beak is small and curved. Between the front parts of the wig, a wesekh collar consisting of three registers decorated with vertical incisions in visible. On the back, the lower part of the wig is recessed and a thick trapezoidal tenon projects backwards. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
