Fragment of a censer

Terminal of a bronze censer in the form of a falcon head. The falcon head is hollow and turned downwards, the eyes in relief are barely discernible because of corrosion, the beak is small and curved. The tube has two holes on the sides, probably for fixing the object to the rest of the censer. An inorganic, intense blue material, the result of corrosion, is present inside the falcon head. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
