Amulet depicting the goddess Taweret

Standing figure of Taweret. The goddess’ face is damaged, and its details are not visible, but the head is prominent, suggesting she was likely represented with the head of a hippopotamus. The goddess wears a tripartite wig. There is a broken suspension loop on the back of the head. The belly is prominent, the arms are extended forward, holding the sign sA. The goddess has a crocodile tail. The figure rests on a shaped base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
