Amulet depicting Serapis

Standing figure of Serapis. The god is wearing the atef-crown, the hair is long, and the head, slightly turned to the right, is barely visible. The body forms a subtle curve with the weight on the left leg. The right arm forms a curve and joins the leg, while the left arm is slightly bent and holds the himation. The chest is sculpted. The legs are covered by the drapery of the himation. Under the feet, there is an irregular base from which a broken rectangular tenon projects down. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
