Lamp in the form of a male head

Lamp in the form of a male head. The face of the man displays features consistent with the Egyptian representations of Sub-Saharan African populations. The filling hole opens at the top of the head, its rim being damaged. The handle is broken. The hair, short and tightly curled, is finely detailed. From the mouth, the nozzle emerges, decorated with two volutes and provided with a wick hole. There is a break on the underside of the nozzle. The neck extends into a base, concave on the underside. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
