Seal with ibis figure and ostrich feather

Rectangular seal depicting an ibis and an ostrich feather, symbol of the goddess Maat. The ibis is shown in profile, striding forward, with a curved beak, a sinuous neck, and a teardrop-shaped body, hollow in the centre. In front of it is an ostrich feather with a recessed area, probably intended for an inlay now missing. Both figures are enclosed within a rectangular frame. On the reverse, four bronze bars converge into a circular-section tenon. From this rear structure extend two additional small channels connecting to the body of the ibis. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
