Coffin for a snake

A rectangular coffin made from a single piece of wood with a separately made sliding lid. A rectangular and now empty cavity is carved into the coffin for hosting a mummy. Along the inner rim, a recess allows the lid to slide in. The lid is surmounted by a shallow carved image of a snake in relief, the originally erect head of which, now missing, was made from a separate piece of wood.
