Figure of a squatting baboon. He is wearing a headdress composed of a moon disc resting on the crescent moon. The fur details of the coat are incised. The baboon is seated with the legs bent in front of him, the front paws placed on the knees. The tail is curled along the right side. The figure rests on a base which is rectangular on the front and rounded at the back and its right front corner is broken. A square tenon projects down from the base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
