Banner top with the figure of a baboon squatting on a naos, supported by a palmiform column. The baboon is crowned with a headdress composed of a moon disc resting on a broken crescent moon. The mantle is adorned with a feather pattern. The hands rest on the knees. The baboon rests on a naos with cavetto cornice and torus moulding. All four sides of the naos are inscribed. The naos itself is supported by a palmiform column, finely incised with leaf details. Below the capital are five raised ring bands, beneath which are two semicircular elements, one on each side. The column is hollow and ends in a raised rim. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
