Apis bull statuette

Figure of the Apis bull, striding with the left legs forward. He has a solar disc decorated with the uraeus between his horns. The ears protrude on the sides. A recessed triangle is engraved on the forehead. The eyes are lateral and in relief, but the corrosion covering the object makes it difficult to distinguish the details. The rump is higher than the head. The tail is attached to the right hind leg and slightly thickens toward the end. The figure rests on a bronze base and is mounted on a modern wooden stand. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
