Apis bull statuette

Figure of Apis bull, striding with left legs forward. The horns and solar disc are missing. The details are not clearly discernible, as a result of corrosion. The back is elongated, the legs and tail are thick. The tail runs along the left hind leg. The figure rests on a sled-shaped base, from which a broken square tenon projects down. Two modern brass pins were inserted in the base. The figure is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
