Figure of a striding lion with figurative column on the rump. The lion has a modius on its head, damaged at the top. The lion has a round face surrounded by a mane composed of raised curls. The face is almost human. The lion is not anatomically correct. The legs are short. The tail reconnects to the left hind leg. On the rump, there is a figurative column featuring a figure of Bes on top of a human head, while the back side is flat. The surface is worn. The human face has long hair at the sides, while the figure of Bes has his arms resting on the thighs and squared legs. The top of Bes's headdress is missing. The statuette is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
