Figure of a cat seated in an attentive pose with the tail along the right side. The ears are pointy, the head is round. The cat is wearing a collar consisting of five registers, and a wedjat-eye as a pendant, hanging on thin incised straps. The body is slender and the back forms a gentle curve. The front paws stick together. When seen from the front, the legs form a V. The hind feet stick out from under the flat belly. The tail is decorated with vertical streaks. The figure is mounted on a hollow base, shaped in the form of the hieroglyph sA (Gardiner V17), denoting protection. A circular tenon, located towards the back, projects down from the base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
