Cat statuette

Figure of a cat seated in an attentive pose with the tail along the right side. The cat is wearing a collar consisting of five registers with a wedjat eye as a pendant. The body is slender, and the front paws stick together. The figure is mounted on the original wooden base, perhaps of palm wood, shaped in the form of the hieroglyph sA (Gardiner V17), denoting protection. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
