Figure of a crouching cat poised to leap. The ears are triangular, the eyes are round, the nasal bridge and nose are visible, the muzzle is round. The cat has a collar, visible only at the front, composed of six registers. The chest is round, and the legs, tucked under the body, slightly protrude. The back forms a smooth curve, and the thighs are indicated. The tail runs along the right side of the animal and is decorated with groups of three vertical lines. The figure rests on a base in the form of the hieroglyph sA (Gardiner V17), denoting protection. The front and right sides of the base are inscribed. The base is closed underneath by a cover, possibly modern, consisting of a thin metal sheet. Inside the base is a wooden core, which appears to be ancient. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
