Uraeus statuette

Figure of a snake, perhaps used as a standalone votive figure. The head is modelled with two elongated recesses which represent the eyes, the mouth is rendered as an incised line, the hood is recessed, probably for inlay, which is now missing. The tail is broken. A broken rectangular tenon projects down from under the figure. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
