Right forearm (radius, ulna and hand) of a mummified baboon. The arm was probably placed parallel to the animal’s thighs with the hand curving over the knees and hanging down. The arm is wrapped spirally in dense bandages: the bandages on the top of the arm are stained black, probably from oil and dirt, while only some stains appear on the lower side. The bandages closest to the body are darker, while the ones further away are lighter. The hand is exposed.
