Fragment of a statuette (uraeus)

Fragment of a uraeus. The uraeus appears to have a crown, covered with red vitreous paste. The eyes are represented by two fissures. The ventral scales are indicated. The hood is divided into four recesses, with the upper ones inlaid with blue vitreous paste and the lower ones featuring red vitreous paste. The figure shows extensive traces of gilding. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
