Figure of a squatting ibis. The beak is long, curved downward, and decorated with incised lines. The neck is adorned with a collar composed of two registers. The wings are outlined by a border, while the body is entirely decorated with small incisions. The feather details on the tail are finely executed. The legs are bent; the right leg is broken at the knee, while the left has the central toe fractured. The tenon, now broken, connected the two legs at the knee joints. The figure is mounted on a plexiglass base. The object appears to have been produced using the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
