The protomes wear wigs ending in two curls; the triangular faces show no visible details and appear worn. The upper part of the handle is broken and has been repaired using the cast-on technique, through the addition of a bronze collar. Possible impressions from fabric are visible on the handle. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for hollow casts.
