Statuette of the Apis bull

Standing figure of the Apis bull. He has a large solar disc between his horns, decorated with the uraeus. The ears are positioned laterally. The head forms a flat, sloping surface, with a triangle incised on the forehead. Around the neck, the bull wears a two-band collar divided into small rectangular segments. A winged scarab is incised on the withers, with details of the wings clearly marked. On the back, a cloth is engraved with a chequered pattern and fringes. A figure of a vulture is incised on the rump. The hind legs are joined. The figure stands on a rectangular base. The figure is mounted on a modern wooden base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
