Dog as a mummy bundle with a flattened body and a prominent head. The animal is wrapped in several layers of bandages of the same type of textile, which are kept in place by another spiral bandage, knotted to the first one on the back side. The bandages are of different widths and are heavily stained with a dark substance (maybe resin and/or oil).
The CT scan shows the skeleton of a juvenile dog, which is placed in a seated position with the hind paws slightly pushed up and the tail kept close to the belly. No thoracic or abdominal organs are present, presumably as it has been eviscerated.
