Pleated tunic

Pleated tunics are usually made from three pieces of linen, one for the body and two for the sleeves. The body part, which sometimes had a fringe along the long side, was closed on the side and sewn at the sleeves. In this case, the neckline is completed by laces. This tunic had been folded and placed on the body of the deceased.
