Baboon statuette

Figure of a squatting baboon. The mane and mantle are indicated and separated by grooves. The baboon is seated with the legs bent in front of him, the front paws placed on the knees. The tail is curled along the right side, the toes are indicated. The figure rests on a base which is curved at the back, and which has a straight side in front of the feet. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
