Osiris statuette

Standing, mummiform figure of Osiris, wearing a tight-fitting dress which leaves the hands uncovered. He is wearing an atef-crown with ram horns, uraei flanking each feather and pairs of uraei hanging from each horn. Osiris has a false beard and a wesekh-collar, consisting of seven registers. The arms are bent and the fists, resting side by side on the chest, hold the nekhekh and the heqa-sceptres, in inverted position. The feet rest on a thin square base, from which a thick tenon projects down. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
