Harpocrates statuette

Seated, naked figure of Harpocrates. The god is depicted with the plaited side-lock on the right side of the head, which ends with a curl on the right shoulder. Harpocrates has the double crown, decorated with a small stylised uraeus, a border at bottom and a lituus, which is broken. Behind the neck there is a suspension loop, which is a bit elongated. The god has his arms at sides with hands open, the palms facing down. The legs are together. The feet rest on a thin trapezoidal base. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
