Fragment of falcon statuette (foot)

Foot of a falcon, probably part of a wooden statuette. The incisions on the foot indicate the skin pattern. The talons are curved. A circular tenon protrudes from the top of the foot, for insertion into the body of the statuette. Another circular tenon projects down from the foot. The object is made in the lost-wax technique for solid casts.
